ACT WORKKEYS ASSESSMENT
We are offering the ACT WorkKeys exam for Juniors. DATE TBD
The ACT Work Keys test is different than the ACT exam. The ACT Work Keys test measures various job-related foundational and soft skills, crucial to success in the workplace.
Students and job-seekers, as well as experienced professionals, can use the ACT WorkKeys test to assess their own skills and get a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. They can then use this understanding to better prepare for the upcoming exams or their upcoming job interviews.
Employers also use the ACT WorkKeys test scores to take the guesswork out of determining employee qualifications and to appoint, train, and retain a high-quality workforce.
The ACT WorkKeys will be offered to SCC Juniors beginning at 8 am.

The ASVAB measures student strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success. It also provides students with career information for various civilian and military occupations and is an indicator for success in future endeavors whether choosing to go to college, vocational school, or a military career. The ASVAB is good practice for the ACT as well.
The test will be offered at SCC:
Practice tests for the ASVAB are available at:
Students who take the ASVAB also receive access to the ASVAB Career Exploration Program. This program will help students identify and explore occupations. This exceptional program is free and you receive the following career tools:
FREE JUNIOR ACT
SCC High School would like to inform you of an ACT testing opportunity scheduled in March during the normal school day. This test will be offered to all juniors. This is a separate test experience than the one your student may sign up to take through ACT.
All juniors will be given the opportunity to take the ACT at school at no charge to the student or to the District. The state of Kansas is funding these statewide ACT testing events.
The ACT will be offered on February annually.
